I opted for this 10% serum as I'm new to this and my dermatologist advised against using serums with higher concentrations. I used this specifically to address the dryness & dullness my skin had earlier, irrespective of the weather but winters just made it far worse. I incorporated this Guava Glow serum with the fruit+active formula into my skincare routine & it was instrumental in brightening my complexion & reducing that dry, dull look within a period of 4 months. It does not cause irritation on skin at all. I also wanted to mention that during the 1st week, I didn't observe any significant change in my skin's dryness or glow. I had never used serums before. I tried a serum with higher vitamin C concentration & it irritated & caused a burning sensation on my face. It was like a nightmare. This Guava serum has effectively made my skin tone more vibrant. Best thing is that as a newbie, this does not irritate my skin at all. It has lesser 10% Vitamin C concentration in this serum and as a starter, I can say that this is the best thing to start if you're new to skincare. It contains guavas and that's why I bought it. The fruit+active formula in this product is really very promising and the best one in the market as per my personal experience. I have tried serums from different brands but this one is easily more adaptable to my skin. I did not get any rashes or irritations upon trying. I absolutely LOVED this! My skin feels so much better now. Earlier, I tried a Vitamin C serum and it made my skin get a burning sensation somehow and I had to change that. I used to wake up to a super dry skin every day. I love the guava gush in the serum, its a new concept for me and it has worked really well for me! I was a little skeptical of trying serums again being new to this but this one I'm using everyday for over 3.5 months now. Does not cause irritation. Very nice product.
